I asked him the same question the other day. His answer was that the accusation itself makes the accusation credible. That and "some documents" from 2012.

Supporting documentation from before a time when one could suspect ulterior motives.
She told at least 2 people about this in 2012 - unless she's fricking Nostradamus and instead of using her power to win the lottery has decided to use it just this once on just this one SCOTUS nominee, that's more than credible enough to warrant an investigation.
Why the rush? Surely you guys have a cave full of Kavanaugh's that will repeal Roe ready to go, just pick another.

i don't care about Roe other than being a lawyer who can recognize a terrible judicial opinion and also as its example as judicial activism. the actual law is not important to me
and i didn't even like Kav as a nominee given other options

No. Leaked notes didn't say anything about Kavanaugh, and we don't even know if those notes are real. It's WaPo for crying out loud.

That’s just according to her and a selective release of her therapist’s notes. If she wants us to believe her story, let’s get her therapist on the stand and she can waive doctor patient confidentiality and we can question her therapist. Or she can provide her unredacted notes from her therapist.

Sure, let's get any potential witnesses (including Judge) under oath to answer questions from the entire Judiciary committee.
Or have them questioned under oath by the FBI, with a full investigation.
