If there is one thing that insurance should cover 100% of it's maternity care IMO

I can’t get wait to get the frick out of this state. Our “conservative” government is nothing but a corrupt moral less good ole’ boys club who love to talk loudly but do absolutely nothing to back it up. Abbott is the worst of them all. He’ll pass political posturing laws to make it look like he’s stopping H-1Bs from coming in when, in reality, these laws do frick all to stop them. He knows he can’t afford to not have them in our state because our state economy relies heavily on H-1Bs. It’s a fricking clown show.

Congress won't, but they could easily end the madness by making it a felony for a non citizen to have a baby here. Also to aid in the process. The baby might be a citizen but everyone involved including mom goes to jail. And it isnt like they dont know, its a nine month gestation. Those cruises and flights? Seize the ships and planes, and arrest the crews.
For that matter, make all illegal immigration a felony. Anyone hiring or assisting an illegal would be guilty of same. Including visa overstays,and sanctuary.

The hospital that’s advertising should be on the hook for all expenses related to this. Absolutely no governmental or taxpayer assistance should be granted to cover these costs.
