I find it more and more difficult to even understand this stuff as I grow old. I’m going to end up like Archie Bunker, but without any actual racism or bigotry. But the indignation and confusion.

The problem is they got away from that and went woke lol. As long as they keep the woke out of shows any kind of show featuring hot chicks will work well.

I mean entire tv networks in the 90s were built around putting hot chicks in the worst movies imaginable (looking at you skinamax) and it worked until internet porn killed it.
It’s almost impossible to be as bad at making marketable entertainment as Hollywood currently is.
The recent Witcher series is a perfect example of just how terrible the showrunners are these days.
Popular books/games? Check.
Sex and violence? Check.
Large passionate fanbase? Check.
They even hired hot and fairly charismatic actresses with a big time star to lead the way.
The fact that they managed to screw that up by “updating the content for a modern audience” and horrible rewrites by showrunners who clearly hate the source material almost deserves an award.
It’s like striking out at t-ball.

Man you just brought back some memories. I watched several late night movies on Skinamax through the squiggly lines lol.
It would be hard to mess up some Baywatch remake with a cast of hot chicks. Even woman got their share of eye candy in that show. If it’s was redone today they would make a Baywatch San Francisco with Dylan Mulvaney as the star.
