There is a reason that the WNBA pays less than the NBA. It doesn't make as much money as the NBA. It is simple economics not racism or sexism.

Not only that.
The business has to pay for facilities, marketing people, legal, accounting, health insurance, training staff.
The NBA has higher costs here, nowhere near 123 fold higher.
This is why WNBA doesn't turn a profit, and NBA does. It's not just player salaries, especially for low revenue WNBA. It's a good chunk of cost for WNBA, it isn't much for NBA though.

If I round up some guys to play some basketball in a gym, should we demand we get equal pay?
I mean it's all basketball and we're trying. Just because no one is watching shouldn't have a bearing on my pay?
Also, should all musicians be paid the same? Should a singers like a-ha demand the same pay as U2? Or Motley Crue?

Talk to the WNBA about that, and the team owners. If they don't feel like they're being paid enough, they shouldn't play.

The NBA average 17,500 fans per game in 2021. The WNBA, 7,500. Do the math: that's why Griner is paid what she's paid in the WNBA. Last year's champion, the Chicago team, had its championship parade down one of Chicago's main streets: it was normal traffic, both on the sidewalk & streets. Basically 2 floats riding down the street, no one watching.

Republicans aren't smart enough to realize that doing things like supporting equal pay for NBA/WNBA is how you win the culture wars.
Conservatives should be out there demanding that the WNBA get paid the same if they support equal pay laws. They should be demanding that trans women be allowed to play in womens sports. If trans women are women then they should be allowed because they're women, duh.
So many red pills would be handed out.

We should lie, pander and completely destroy any integrity we have to get a few votes? So that would make us exactly like the ones there now. So there would be no change at all in the type of person in charge just the letter behind the name. Sounds like what has been going on for 100 years. The uniparty thanks you. The product which is the WNBA is not producing the revenue that the NBA produces.
You can only pay a player what they are worth.
Instead of complaining they should try to raise demand by packing arenas and viewer ship on tv for their league.
