The internet has been banned in Iran since the recent protests. Prior to that did the Iran public get to see what western lifestyle was like? Did they consider it disgusting or did they envy it?

Is the water situation as bad as it's been reported, and is it confined mostly to Tehran County?
Edit for spelling

The only opinion I mentioned is that OP's expertise is based on his having been a toddler in Iran.

What city in Iran did you all live in

1) What is BM?
2) Let's say the "Good Guys" succeed, and I hope they do. Does Iran have an alternative other than to turn to the Shah? I would be okay with him being a "bridge" until a representative government could be established, but I hope the people eventually have a right to choose their leaders.
Prayers for the Persian people.

Thanks for creating this thread. What do you think the odds are of ending the current regime?
I posted already that you can bet the CIA is all over this. I'm sure we are there trying to turn some of the Generals. So, you can bet we are involved as much as possible without visible military on the ground.

Then maybe the POTUS decides to ask the question of how much resource potential the US is clearly provided in exchange for any help the US provides to the Iranian citizenry, especially when so much is suspect.
Iran derives from Aryan. Go figger!!
