These aren’t ugly communist statues of Stalin meant for propaganda and to keep people in line, these are amazing looking bronze casts of people of importance to US history
You’re telling me a statue of Jefferson Davis built in the 1950 wasn’t for propaganda?
Hitler was a pretty important figure in US history. We don’t build statues of him.

Agreed. But how does one fight back?
This scenario is what lead to the New Mexico self defense shooting after the miscreants attacked one of the fellows there against their tirades and tearing down a statue.
You can’t exactly started shooting people for destroying a statue per se.

No matter who these people were, the bronze statues of all of these people look amazing and beautify the surrounding. Instead we’ll be left with empty pedestals which will just serve as graffiti magnets and lead to a decline in property values. They won’t be replaced with other bronze statues, it’ll just be a loss to the community to pacify the mob. And I doubt those statues will ever make their way to a park or museum either.

You’re comparing Abraham Lincoln to Hitler?
He probably prefers Hitler to Lincoln, truth be told.

you've been effectively with these people since the day I saw you arrive on the board
Too late.
It is interesting how so many people who excused these actions and concerns regarding how they will worsen are now switching their stances.
I’ve excused nothing nor "have been with these people". Y’all and your purity tests are asinine. Many in the right are just as bad those on the left, the similarities with intolerance of any sort of middle ground thinking is striking. Enjoy the rubble.

The aesthetic fabric of "place" has always been an important
priority and concern of western civilization, since the dawn of it essentially.
It actually makes sense why those wanting to destroy it would lash out first at such features. And why the early ideas that such acts should have been seen as "no big deal" was folly.

Protest. Stand in front of the statue to block them. Write your elected officials. Write you local papers. Donate to have them restored. Demand to anyone and everyone that they remain. I don’t know a million ways but do whatever you can to prevent them from being removed.

Maybe I have you confused with someone else.

Your stance is deemed far right by the mob.
This is where some of you seem to be confused.
To the mob, anything that isn’t in line with their destructive beliefs is considered “far right”.
Oppose the removal of confederate statues? Far right.
Oppose the removal of Thomas Jefferson? Far right.
Oppose the removal of George Washington? Far right.
Oppose the removal of Abraham Lincoln? Far right.
There is no middle ground with these groups.

An anti Marxism purity test is simply smart

The people of Germany did the same thing when the nazis lost.
The people of Russia died the same thing when the Soviet union fell.
The people of the United States did the same thing when the war for independence was over.
And so on.

the Left is UGLY, so they abhor beauty.
Look at the architecture built by the Communists and the modernists who practice cultural Marxism.
They're evil, ugly people.
