TV being in in common areas to a news channel isn't the same as a fixed government message.
And I do think they're needs to be a more neutral news channel. Cnn hadn't held that role in a long time. But they play that role. Fox let's you how they are on the right and msnbx with the left.
Though fox isnt oann.

It's not so much as the airports or TSA, Noem is violating the Hatch act. This has happened several times over recent decades. She is a government employee.

Maybe. But tell me this/these...

A) what candidate did she use federal resources to support (or oppose)?
B) exactly which election is she affecting?

Well, by naming the other party, she pretty much is opposing them. She is effecting the next election.

Like I said, it's not an uncommon occurrence, and it happens more frequently with the Dems violating the Hatch act, but she did blatantly violate it.

Mentioning the Democrats in that message makes it overly political.

Summer of 2020 I was in LAX airport and it was half empty, but the tvs were incredibly loud, all on CNN and blasting anti Republican/Anti Trump messages.

For 4 hours, nothing but shite propaganda.

huh. That's going to be a very large net. Because members of the executive branch of previous administrations never make general comments about the other party. Ever!

And "next election" isn't specific enough...
House? which district?
Senate? which state?
Dog catcher? which town?

It's a direct violation of the Hatch act. You can't use the federal government to blame opposition in this way.

Yet CNN plays in every airport hammering the republicans for decades.

Why do you think CNN is not violating the Hatch Act?

Are CNN federal employees?

Hatch Act only is for Federal employees, cabinet secretaries, etc.

Because it's not a government official. It's a tv station.
I still think some consider it to be the neutral news station. Especially some moderates.

I get people here think fox is liberal now. It's a shame that there isn't just regular news anymore.

This really is no big deal. The admin has gotten more out of this than the videos as it's all over the news. People that don't fly are heading this msg.

Also if put it on record that this can't be done in the future by Democrats.

CNN is just a loophole.

Every airport blasted chuck shumer blaming republicans but it’s cool.

If airports decided to cut ties with cnn and make a deal with Fox. Democrats would start a shite storm.

The thing is. People can choose to put in the news. Or sports. They are TOLD to play the Noem video and in the TSA line where people are captive. I fly all the time and i can't think of any time I've ever just sat and watched tv in the airport.
But the info video. The welcome videos. We have to watch those.

It. Not. The. Same.

Oh look, a partisan hack is partisan when she isn't allowed to be. Who would've guessed that the fake woman would not follow simple rules?
