In stopping this gender bullshite...props Bama

quote:

Alabama law criminalizing gender transition surgery, drugs for minors takes effect

quote:

Those convicted under the law would face up to 10 years in prison

quote:

Ivey also signed a law banning certain elementary school teachers from discussing gender identity and sexual orientation in school last month. The law is very similar to legislation passed in Florida banning teachers from teaching on the issues between kindergarten and third grade. Critics dubbed the legislation, signed by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, as the "don't say gay" bill.

Must be an election year, because MeeMaw is doing something other than raising taxes.

Memaw just got teachers a much deserved pay raise, the roads are getting fixed (I-59 north of Bham?), and broadband access is improving for rural Alabama among others. You can stand a little tax increase for some good things.

FTSCS

Never in a million years will our honor code, ambulance chasing, “just like a republican” shite stain of a governor do anything to cross the national liberal agenda.

I wonder if this will stop UAB from doing the uterus transplants to men that they’ve recently been doing.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars. And I’m pretty sure the people aren’t paying for them and UAB is footing most of the costs. Absolutely ridiculous.

Louisiana does that to fund studies that never actually fix the problem.

Quick question for everyone.

Why is it deemed okay to discuss trans topics with fourth graders? Seems like these laws, by not addressing the older class, give tacit approval to teach to fourth grade and older.

the fact that mainstream democrats are openly supporting child mutilation, in some cases without parental consent, to affirm a diagnosable and treatable psychological disorder should be a wake up call to folks in the middle who find themselves voting for these people on occasion.

I am as willing to shite on him as the next guy, but the supermajority GOP legislature can't even get it out of fricking committee.

Meemaw letting DeSantis do the Lord's work and then following suit because its an election year. I ain't mad about the legislation, but I don't want everyone running around thinking that Mee Maw is doing a great job.

Young minds break easier. Actually break is wrong term to use. The young mind is more fertile, seeds of thought take root easier. Good seeds and bad seeds alike.

It’s not.

The Florida law still protects older kids using some vague language that has the groomers scared.

It’s best if the avoid the discussion in math class altogether and focus on math.

The teachers do NOT need to be so close to these kids that they feel that they have to share their mental illness with the child.

It’s weird. I barely knew much about any teacher that wasn’t a coach too.

100% correct! Gas-tax and COVID response are why I won't vote for her. She hasn't led on anything. She's handled just like Biden is.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think TX has a law about this. Iirc last I've heard Abbott has been skating around this issue, which I've heard some think he isn't to get all the new biz to TX.

Oh and for the grooming is a myth groomers.... Libs Of TikTok twatter

Mee Maw sounds a lot like Gov. Grab-it in TX.
