Oh No..
Looks like Alabama won't be able to host a Super Bowl or All Star Game. They may lose the LBGTQ crowds at Orange Beach as well.

They are also jeopardizing Losing Pride Day, a possible move of Southern Decadence to Mobile, and all the LBGTQ Pride Month events being planned for June.
Yes, LBGTQ Pride month is in June AND they have a LBGTQ History Month in October.

Two full months of festivities wiped off the Alabama calendar.

A Village People, Cher, and Barbara Streisand concert MC'd by Bette Midler on the USS Alabama would have been epic.

Bingo. Like most other politicians, she's an opportunist, not a leader.

I really do love this state, but Meemaw is a caricature. We have got to do better.

According to her tv ads………..Mee Maw is a “high steppuh and there’s no step too high for a high steppuh.”
Lol
She needs to retire.

Ivey also signed a law banning certain elementary school teachers from discussing gender identity and sexual orientation in school last month. The law is very similar to legislation passed in Florida banning teachers from teaching on the issues between kindergarten and third grade. Critics dubbed the legislation, signed by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, as the "don't say gay" bill.

The Alabama law covers to the sixth grade. Florida stopped at third.

The glass is half full; how many Governors won't take action and the road map is laid out in front the them?
