I say no.

I've lost all respect for the man. I only hope that there are wheels turning behind the scene that we don't know about, but I'm doubtful.

Sessions should be pegged by angry lesbians every day for the rest of his life.

Hard pass, Sessions is dead to me.

There are other people that can beat Doug Jones come 2020 as long as the NeverTrump and pompous arse voters are willing to vote for them.

No, I've always disliked Jeff Sessions. Have never voted for him, and never will.

Absolutely.

Just because you aren't good at one job doesn't mean you are or aren't good at another job.

*edit*

I have just about concluded that Sessions is "too moral" of a guy to really withstand the job description. I am just an average Joe. I don't know what goes on behind the curtain as well as I THINK I know... So, I would give him the benefit of the doubt about being Atty Gen vs being a senator.

I think he was fantastic as a senator and I think he would still be.

One on one vs Jones? I'd have to hold my nose. Under no other circumstances given what he has done could I vote for him.

THIS +2 (me and my wife).

I can't stand Jones. Every time I've written to him (10 already) I've NEVER received a response yet. Not even 1 form letter expressing his views. From Mr Sessions...every single time....once with his actual signature (not a stamp...and it was his..in blue ink).

Seriously..Jones is a liberal lacky. He got lucky because Roy got selected to run against him. He won't get re-elected.

I think it is more that Sessions is a checker player in a world of grandmaster chess players. He's been schooled and it is showing.

Well, I haven't seen the lawsuits against that yet so I don't know that it's necessarily true. Once it's proven all Alabamians need to write their STATE officials and get a recall process voted on and approved so we can recall this idiot based on this.

Sessions was always a back-bencher when he was a Senator. That’s one reason he was the first Senator to get behind Trump. He realized that even though he could be a Senator for life, he was never going to be a leader in the Senate. He’s always been kind of a hayseed and I think he bit off way more than he could chew by becoming AG.

I’ve never disliked Sessions and he’d be better than Doug Jones on most issues, but I think Alabama can do better.

Sessions did fine other than his already-held positions on drugs and forfeiture

Nope. He and Roy need to disappear from the Alabama political landscape.

He's the worst kind of "conservative", rants and raves about social issues but soft on fiscal and international matters. As long as the government legislates his brand of morality, he doesn't care how much it costs.
