Supposedly this guy was trafficking fentanyl.
Well if the cops said it, it must be true! End of case!
Again, Alabama Law has nothing to do with justice.

She's a very small woman up against a large man
She tased him bent over a car with handcuffs on, not resting whatsoever. That justification is ridiculous and asinine.

Was that clip even a minute long? You have no idea whether he was "constantly bitching at her," and even if he was, you don't get to tase someone for saying stuff you don't like.
quote:
She did a good job of controlling him while the passenger is filming the arrest
Which is it? Was he under complete control because she did a good job controlling him, or was he resisting and she had to use the taser because he was so much bigger than she was and was losing control of the situation? You don't get to have it both ways.

all she did was hold a taser to his back, the video proves she wasnt pulling the trigger
You can hear the tazer going off, and you can see the cables already attached.
Not agreeing or disagreeing with the video, but he is being tazed.

That friggin' biyotch and any cop like her I pray you do not ever do that to me or one of mine.
That was horrible. Her punishment should be 4 to 5 times the pain he felt and prison with the general population!!

Man, that guy was a baby back bitch. Looks like he lost a fight to a chick cop and then cried like a little girl from a tiny taze. Guy traffics fentanyl and I'm supposed to feel bad he got tuned up a little?

good with arresting Michael Byrd and giving him the same treatment as Derek Chauvin?
I didn’t say arrest anyone. Suspend, with pay until an investigation into full footage is concluded.
But based on that bit alone the suspect was not resisting, was subdued against the car with her having a taser to his back, and she executed an escalation of force. Idk Alabama’s law enforcement book, but if you want to bring up Chauvin let’s go there.
The prosecutions’ own witness said Chauvin was within MN police standards to increase the escalation of force, ie a taser. Floyd was resisting as he was dying of OD from ingesting a fentanyl rock

someone is getting a light/no sentence and a payday

This should be handled locally and should not be news.

Short clip and no context before she put him on the car, but it looks like she was searching his right pocket and pulled out a gun. Why would it be her gun? Wouldn't hers be on her hip?
This being completely hypothetical but, What if she asked him if he had any weapons and he said no, only for her to find one in his pocket, that he could have accessed even in cuffs?
I don't have a problem with her deploying her tazer at that point, who knows what else he has on him and what else he was lying about. Tazers will take away whatever ideas he had of escaping or causing harm to that officer.

Why in the world would you ever do this?
That answer will keep you off serving on any jury.

100% of the time, I take the evidence at hand before even considering taking a "side", and sometimes it takes a good while before the whole story comes out. At very least, we should all "Bongino Rule".

(even in the George Floyd case)
Yeah, my initial reaction before all the facts came out, was that Chauvin was guilty of murder. But, admittedly I still believed most of what Faux News was telling me back then.
But, during the trial, the medical examiner testified that asphyxiation was not the cause of death, and that Saint Floyd of Fentanyl had enough illegal drugs in his system to kill three grown men.
Chauvin got hosed about as badly as one can get hosed, and now the eff bee eye is trying to have him assassinated in prison because they know he's eventually going to get his conviction overturned/reversed on appeal, and we'll have BLM armies burning down liberal cities once again.

I don't know what happened prior but if she indeed tased in him the back just now, she will be fired and probably prosecuted. And honestly, I have no problem with it. I know the cop hiring pool is bad but you can't have people who act like that on the force. You just can't.

It looked to me like she was moving her gun from her holster to the hood of the car so that it would be farther away from his hands and he couldn't grab it, but it really is impossible to tell.
You would think if he was carrying that gun she would have found it before then.
EDIT: I watched it again and I think you're right, actually, because she pulled the gun out with her left hand.
You still don't get to tase someone because you searched them and found a weapon.

Then you don't need to be on the police force either.

Maybe, or maybe it just enrages them and they get more violent. I've seen that happen too.

There are some great cops in this country, and there are some bad cops in this country. Most are just average people doing a job I don’t want to do. I’ve met my fair share of all types.
The video looks bad for the cop. But, both of them are innocent until proven guilty. They both will get there day in court.
But, if the clip is completely representative, he may walk guilty of a crime or not. And, the department and the cop are in big trouble.
Would be interested in the outcome.

Well... it is Alabama. It's still Hazard County style Law there. The cops pretty much do whatever they want, wheneever they want. If they say your guilty, youre guilty. Even if youre innocent. The Good Ole Boy Network is alive and well in Alabama. Believe that.
