You are a bad liberal. A good liberal would care about the environment. Artificially keeping obese useless piles of shite who consume more than their fare share of resources alive is bad for the environment.

If Obamacare was even close to being as good as you still claim it is, why are the insurance companies bailing out by the day?
You have to know that Obamacare has been imploding for awhile now.

CNBC Link. Stopped reading there.

I think I did pretty well.
They think its sleep apnea might be root cause, but again, I am not fat.

If people were responsible in the first place they wouldn't have pre-existing conditions, they would just have conditions.

You sound just like all of the "death panel" alarmists that you used to make fun of leading up to the dumpster fire ACA passing.
I will ignore your histrionics like I ignored theirs.

Who was footing the bill for them before? Keep in mind that I'm talking about the ones that abused the system for years (they know who they are) and had their 10 kids on the governments dime and go to the ER for a runny nose, ear ache, and all the other petty crap they feel they're "entitled" to. That's the ones I'm talking about.
So yeah, taxpayers were/are footing the bill for those bums only with more of a burden on us now. Freaks like bamaatl need to start pulling their own weight and quit passing their expenses off on the taxpaying Americans. And get those bums off of welfare as well. Over half of those crooks are able bodied and can get a job if they'd clean up their ghetto act!

Well good for you. You are less than 1% of the population that stays in a job that long. Simply put there are more working aged adults in the country than there are jobs with good benefits.
Thank You. This is the economic reality that people try to ignore. You can do everything possible to make your individual self more marketable, but that does not change the fact that decent jobs are scarce. They will continue to be scarce as long as we keep taxing the producers of this country into oblivion.

How do you separate the moochers from the honest people? If you're diagnosed with a chronic illness while on an employer provided healthcare plan, should you be screwed out of purchasing new insurance for yourself if you left to look for another job?

By the way, you argument is a DAMN STRONG argument against government-run public option and single-payer.
Good job booming your own advocacy!

There's an uncomfortable amount of support for this bill in its current form. Abandoning support for people with pre-existing conditions that could not be prevented is not what 1st world countries do. My daughter (heart transplant) and I are absolutely terrified by this...especially when Louisiana is struggling financially.
Some of you jump in to post "Melt" and "Cuck" like we're at recess. It's scary to me. Many of you have no interest in dissecting the bill, understanding it, and considering the impact on families and our economy.

You shouldn't be worried since you said the house would never pass a repeal. Sleep tight in that confidence.

The House bill is DOA in the US Senate. It has ZERO chance of passing in any form near what the House is voting on today.
That doesn't mean it is DOA.

If your home state applies for AND gets approved for a waiver then you are free to move to a State that did not apply for a waiver like CA or NY as I'm sure those loving caring folks will not apply for a waiver.
The States are going to decide and compete as I understand it.
If you feel like your neighbors don't care for you, you'll be able to get new neighbors.
However, there's a lot of fear mongering going on from the left hyping worst case scenarios.

Why should I care? this does not affect me nor my family. I have worked hard to go to college and get a job so I can have good Insurance. My work pays for my insurance and its damn good! I had a $20K surgery on my arm when I screwed it up and it only cost me $100. I worked hard to get my good healthcare and so should everyone else. This is capitalism and anyone who is against it is communist and should move to North Korea!

For a group known for loving concentrating power in a single all-powerful government, they sure do see how it can go badly all of a sudden.
