They fare very well once they immigrate here. It’s the ultimate proof that “racism” or being black is holding anyone in this country back from anything.

Much of the African American population believe they are entitled a certain standard of living without putting in the work.

Probably coincidental, but every African immigant I've ever known has been a Christian preacher. Every single one. They're based as hell. Really good people who actually have lived in the third world in Africa and know exactly how blessed they are to be in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

I agree. Victim mentality is a virus that seems to thrive in the black community. It's one of things holding back the black community from the shackles of the past. The Democrats doesn't want them to change though. The Democrats likes blacks staying on the plantation. Even though they are free to leave.

It was the same with British colonists coming to America. They came on different ships and settled in different areas. Those establishing Massachusettes were from East Anglia. Those settling Virginia were from other British towns. They didn't like the others' customs or religion.

Immigrants from Africa absolutely hate black Americans. There was a guy from Africa in one of my college classes who gave a 20 minute presentation where all he talked about was how lazy American blacks were and that's why we need so much immigration.

That's really not true, many many people compare the progress made by different immigrants from Africa to African Americans.
Its literally the title of this topic.
Part of this on the right, the beleif that skin color wont hold people back, Nigerian Americans do well, but Somali ones dont.
But it is a right wing talking point.
At the very least it would be myself and the OP lol.

I spent about it 5 years in West Africa and the cultures couldn’t be more different. Some the kindest and respectful people on the planet.
It’s not a racial problem, it’s a culture problem and inner city black culture in America is absolute garbage.

I had a Nigerian Psychology professor that taught IQ testing.
Lets just say that day one of him starting that topic, Shaniqua's were not amused and he could not have cared less. Was hilarious because he was saying what everyone was thinking, out loud and backing it up. They walked out.
He was not a fan of "African Americans".

The stuff in The Bell Curve about racial IQ differences. One of them immediately declared (I think it was the Wechsler) as racist drivel and proven biased and he let her have it. That got a couple more of them fired up and he calmly just stated the facts. That was not going to work and he was making them look really stupid so they stormed out the class and never came back.

Quite a few Nigerians in the Oil & Gas Industry. They are educated, articulate, hard working professionals that are happy to be living and working in the US. They recognize the golden opportunity they have here.
