According to the SS guy, when it came to securing the other perimeter the local Cops said "Don't worry we got this and know what to do." So in other words, the SS just trusted the locals without instructing them. If true, that's a major frickup by SS. I think the SS guy thought it was a flex on his part, but it actually makes him look worse.

They're doing a good job of pointing out frick ups by both the Secret Service and local law enforcement. Overall though, they're blaming local law enforcement for a lack of communication, which I buy.

Did the SS have a channel set up to receive info from local LEOs? Were they monitoring the local LEO channel?
Local LEO may have fricked up but the SS is supposed to have higher fricking standards.
