They didn't forget. He answered that plainly when he said (to paraphrase) that it is not the Secret Service's policy to record communications outside of Washington and outside of protecting the President.

This guy’s testimony notwithstanding, the Secret Service was notified of the shooter’s (a suspicious person) presence 30 minutes before shooting.
They can’t just pawn this off as local LEO’s frickup.

My bad. I misunderstood you. I just think they are using an “Iran plot” to cover up and cloud the issue. We heard nothing about an Iran assassination threat until after the Trump assassination attempt.

There is video of civilians yelling "HE HAS A GUN, HE IS ON THE ROOF LOOK, LOOK at him". Was witnessed by LEO's and USSS.
So why didn't USSS talk into their shoulder or handset microphone to Trump's immediate detail to keep Trump in a holding pattern AND NOT GET ON A STAGE?
