Well, the climate IS changing, and not for the better, but part of the problem is mankind's insistence in creating large cities in totally inhospitable climates. Look at Phoenix-- 6,000,000 people trying to sustain a huge metropolis in a desert. What could go wrong there? The climate of that region was hot and practically rainless when the town was established in the late 1800's, and it has only gotten much hotter in the last 20-30 years since climate change fully kicked in. I mean you have saguaro cacti MELTING and Western Diamondbacks literally roasting to death -- in burrows they sought out to avoid the merciless sun. It's cruel, and unnatural

Godless commies, Langtang Lirung is the holy mountain in Nepal. No one is allowed to scale it, even the most ardent western mountaineers respect the ancient traditions.
It’s the long held belief of the locals and Nepalese that a very powerful force of nature/spirit dwells in that mountain. It’s bad mojo to even attempt to climb it, I’ve seen multiple shows documenting the arduous trek that thousands partake just to the shrine that overlooks the mountain.

Mind you, my OP was not presented as gospel truth, just a story that sounded more plausible than "climate change".

This is true, but humans act as the catalyst thanks to the unabated release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, warming it, which in turn results in increased evaporation and accumulation of more water vapor, a more powerful greenhouse gas, into the atmosphere. It's a positive feedback loop.

Wait you think that western diamondbacks are literally roasting to death because the city of Phoenix exist? The 3 hottest days in Phoenix history were over 30 years ago. Do you not realize that the Earth has had cooling and heating phases for all of it's existence even before humans were here?
