I guess she's right in a technical sense, but it seems to me that her remark reveals her mindset on the whole notion of motherhood.

I wonder how women in general felt about her comment?

What if the woman is pregnant and already has a child? Is she still not a mother?

Proud mothers are a threat to whacko feminism.

considering a woman who becomes pregnant and loses the baby as early as the 5th week will still have physical changes within here body that are similar to women who go full term

I would argue that during the time of pregnancy, the mother is doing some of her most important functions.

That's just a sick, twisted way of thinking. I don't understand where such evil comes from.

According to the left, some men are women, some women are men..some are neither. A fetus isn’t a person, but puppies are “fur babies”...

And if you bitch about your 12 year old daughter seeing a grown mans penis in the women's bathroom you have a tolerance problem

I was going to make a similar comment. As a father, I can tell you that men are very far behind on the relationship with the baby on the day it is born. For me, the day of the birth was really the first time the reality of the baby set in. I felt it move when it kicked in her belly with my hand, but even then I was no where near ready for what was to come.

Pregnant women form a bond with that living being inside them way before birth. According to our nurses, this is critical so that the mother is invested in the baby and will care for it, even through all of it's tough infant stages where a father would get frustrated.

Additionally, each child acts different, kicks different, harder, frequency, after certain meals, etc...which I guarantee the mother remembers and identifies with that child specifically.

So....yeah. I disagree. A pregnant woman is a mother.

That may be the most obnoxious, ridiculous phrase in current usage.
