They can’t help themselves. Article goes on to say he didn’t treat a single soul.

AMA is a lobby group. They hold zero power and represent a fraction of doctors. They make money off of preying on medical students convincing them that it is their way to have a voice in the medical legal world. They have been no help and are just lining their pockets with subscription fees by saying joining their group will give you access to medical literature. If they didn’t have ties with big name journals, they would have exactly zero utility in the medical world.

But only literal thinkers are bothered by that.

Lawyer is just someone who graduated law school with a JD. If you call yourself an attorney that means you've passed the bar.

Anyone that has earned a doctorate can call themselves doctor. He's not a MD.

Technically, Katie Zachariah can call herself a doctor.

But there is no evidence that he never treated a patient.

And there’s no evidence that he didn’t take his bar exam.

If he says he’s a doctor. Who are we to say otherwise, without proof.

Hopefully people are getting sick of my Slofro impersonations

is there a practical reason why someone would go to medical school and not practice medicine?

If you go into research maybe. But a researcher wouldn’t hold themselves out as a practicing physician.

Anyone with a PHD can claim to be a doctor. I think it's silly and pretentious, but it's rather common.

So we agree there is no single definition for physician

Referring to the AMA isn’t exactly a bad source my friend

This is a bunch of crying over nothing, as usual with yall.

Physician is a licensed medical practitioner. Doctor is an academic term. Sayed cannot refer to himself as a physician if he isn't licensed to practice medicine.

Per the AMA’s definition, this is false.

Per the legal definition, this is correct.
