So you want sunlight and transparency but just not that much sunlight and transparency.

I'm not a big Gaetz fan but the people leaking this report bang women supplied by lobbyists on a regular basis. They accept bribes for their votes and they have an opaque taxpayer slush fund for paying out sexual harassment claims.

You're not talking about transparency here, you're talking about partial, targeted transparency, which is an entirely different thing.

It does not matter if this is true or note, this is the Pelosi smear campaign at work.

Allegations suggest Trump didn't nominate Gaetz for the correct position. He is a better fit for Solicitor General it seems.

The guy I was replying to said you shouldn’t be able to make anonymous allegations against a sitting congressman with impunity.

I agree with him. But the answer is full sunlight and transparency. Both on Gaetz and his actions and the accusers and their actions. Anything else is partial, targeted transparency.

But we're not going to get the second half of your wish. So the question is do you think targeted transparency, just like targeted law enforcement, is more harmful than ignoring all of it?

Put another way, if we're only going to issue speeding tickets to black people aren't we better off not issuing them to anybody?

The problem with full transparency is some too online dipshit that cares way too much about politics for how little good it does most people will end up sending death threats to accusers.

This investigation started as a stealing of public funds by Seminole County Tax Collector Joel Greenberg in 2019. Part of the investigation found that he stole over a million dollars and some of the money was spent on making fake ID’s for underage girls. Then the investigation turned into sex trafficking case. The ID’s we’re linked to sex parties that Greenberg and some of his friends had and Gaetz was allegedly at these parties.

Gaetz was linked to the parties while they were investigating Greenberg through text and emails. Some of the texts Gaetz sent talked about “party favors”. He was linked to the case before the FBI got involved.

Greenberg pleaded guilty and was sentenced in December 2022 and he is still working on getting his sentence reduced. The investigation surrounding Greenberg has been slowed because of lawsuits. A defamation lawsuit was dropped and a new lawsuit was filed to destroy or keep the sex parties records sealed. This may take a few more years to unravel

Why?

Let's examine every motherfker in DC and see what we fine. The hypocrisy from the left is insane. The left is the party of sex scandals but they act super holy.

If a high profile figure pays a hooker with a personal check, (Jerry Springer), or arranges trysts through an employer provided cell phone, (the Rev. Hugh Freeze), I hold it against them that they were stupid. Not that they were horny.

Shouldn’t be illegal between consenting adults.

I keep hearing one girl was 17. That’s legal consent age in Texas. Is that legal in Florida?
