Honestly though he looks to be maybe one eighth African ancestry. Does that even count as a “person of color”? Looks (and talks) more white than anything.

A family member, or even worse, a press person forced her to ask that question.

Certainly influenced by the indoctrination and it's not new. This would be the same question a liberal news reporter would ask, it's a juvenile and insulting question to ask. I am 99% positive Victor Glover did not think about being the first person of "color" to fly around the moon. Victor Glover was probably being amazed by flying around the moon and his emotions we will probably never understand, but bet it wasn't about the color of his skin.

This is what an answer from a person who has spent their life serving a purpose larger than self sounds like.

From any race.
