To expand on this, it’s because people don’t do any preventive care. A ambulance ride alone costs a lot

Most people who go to the emergency room could go to an urgent care, get faster treatment, and it would cost 1/10th as much

So, now the board is OK with GLP-1 for fatties? Or will they keep sky screaming to just have willpower?

You are looking at the wrong end of the equation!

Sin Tax the bad food corporations like they did with booze and smokes.

When I was in school, no soft drinks, no brand fast foods, no vending machines. While "mystery meat Monday" may never been discovered, not any fat kids from eating it in the cafeteria.

Insurance would rather not pay a 10 dollar test on your annual physical that detect heart issues when it is cheaper to treat and recover.

HSA were the smartest things USA did for health care then spent the last generation whittling down what you can pay with them.

The burden of healthcare is passed on to the healthy.

Now the USDA counts pizza sauce as a vegetable.

Nope, that is the red herring

Look at drugs

You take down the supplier before taking down the user

The problem is taxpayers covering. Ones that don’t need it or will ever need it.

So once again, healthcare is shifted to the healthy.

frick you fat fricks.

Lol.

Take down the supplier?

We aren’t talking street drugs here.

How are you going to take down companies that make medicine?

I’m just saying to pay for your own drugs.

Just like you should pay for your own abortion if you must have one.

Here you go

You must pay because no one has agency.

I’ve explained on this board how to eliminate debt and deficits several times already but everyone is married to the Rothschild monetary system instead of the Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln monetary system. Not even Thomas Massie can get out of debt and deficits under the current Rothschild monetary system. Debt is a feature not a flaw in the current system. Austerity measures don’t work under the current system.

The government refuses to protect our food supply because politicians might lose donations. Wouldn’t protecting Americans from predatory food manufacturers make more sense?

RFK has identified this and wants to fix it, but you guys just want to call him crazy and unqualified.

Gym memberships and health supplements should be tax deductible

We need both TBH
RFJ jr is doing what he can but until the big food lobby gets out of the pockets of congress it’s going to be an uphill climb.

I love the idea of tax breaks for healthy people and incentivizing cardiovascular health and weight. Our society is too sensitive now though and won’t take any personal responsibility for this problem.
