Does anyone really think that a guy that’s in the running for president in two years didn’t run this idea by 836 lawyers before proceeding? If this isn’t absolutely bullet proof DeSantis did us a favor by blowing up his own candidacy.

Just remember; all sheriff's are politicians. Every single one has to run for election and they have to curry political favors, as well as funding in order to run for office. If they give you crap about them being only about truth, justice and the American way, try to stifle your laughter. They are as corrupt, if not more so, as any other garden variety politician.
