I think pushing back, no matter how small many see it, is worth it.
I also see the argument that energy is better spent on the larger issues but my counter to that is that they didn't become larger issues overnight.
To each their own, I guess.
You can join Powerman and the libs in thinking it doesn't matter. I will remain strong in my position that it all matters.

Man, I dislike the race swap casting a lot. But I also watch things and see what I am presented.
It played entirely different on screen than I anticipated.
I still wish he hadn't cast Page. Lupita came out entirely different than I expected and it worked really really well
They are also in the film for like 5 minutes total

Fair points. I get that woke is annoying, I just don't believe Nolan is a part of it. The other side was bashing him with Oppenheimer because of an all white cast. Casting Paige isn't really surprising. He's worked with her before and has a relationship with her. I don't think it's that big of a deal.

The Oscars changed the rules in 2024 for any film wishing to be nominated
I posted them already. The choices may not have all been up to Nolan, considering the new rules.

Your willfully obdurate nature wont allow you to see the bigger picture here. Nit pick the plot all you want. I haven't seen it, I never will. It isn't about the actress, it isn't even really about just the movie. It's about the creeping effects of a genuinely racist DEI initiative that seeks to destroy a great nation, and people like you are the sad result of it all.

I'm not all ate up with it. There are some filmmakers I am not going to give the benefit of the doubt to.
Nolan is one I will, and I greatly enjoyed the movie. The characters are in the film for an extremely small amount of time, and I thought Lupita made complete sense once you actually see it.
Page made sense in a certain way too, but I didn't like it
