a merger of the Texas faction and the Florida faction

Probably wouldn't happen, because FL would have to be the capital due to TX state govt being a load of chunky hot shite full of leftie friendly GOPe nuts.

A major wall would need to be created and some hard calls made on who is allowed in. Immigration lock down for a few decades to make sure assimilation is done properly. Lock in Christian values as the true foundation of the new nation. Otherwise people like me won't support anything, as it's no different than what we'll be leaving.

Chyna will be rolling up onto the Cali coast day 1.

This would be a sad day but it's what the Democrat lefties have wanted and pushed with their pure hatred for the foundation of this nation. At some point the nation will have to split I to the groups that like to "evolve" and people who respect and prefer tradition.

In a nutshell I don't see large regions breaking off like mentioned. Friendly sections sure but the "SEC" has to much GOPers to get this done.

Being in Mississippi Louisiana can EAD. Your citizens are moving here in droves because your state blows. Out of the four states we border you are by far the worst. Arkansas, Tennessee and Alabama are leaps and bounds better than neighbors. Again EAD

Almost every state has one thing in common... federal money. Until that spigot is turned off, no state can afford to split. The second it is, however, I'd say it's a very real likelihood.

Why the #1 priority at the moment would be to find a way to get it where states collect income taxes from their own citizens. Then the States and DC negotiate. Essentially DC has to layout a plan for what is needed for defense and other legit fed requirements. States could be required to set aside money for help during natural disasters, etc.

We definitely need to find a way to stop the lefties use the federal govt, via taxpayer money, to socially engineer society in such a negative way.

How's that working out? Right to secession needs to be an amendment.

This is stupid. You're part of the reason Mississippi and Alabama are passing/have passed us.

establishment wont give up status quo easily.

counties north of SF voted for "secession" to form new state of Jefferson in a non binding show of interest and other counties were into dividing California north south and east.

a judge prevented the binding state wide election vote on the 3 state version
BECAUSE THE TRANSITION WOULD NOT BE SEAMLESSLY SMOOTH.
all those signs.
retirements.
blah blah.
JfC.

so if you want to see Texas Republic you need know exactly how so fear of unknown does not bind the masses to status quo.

Yep, I agree we should breakup the Republic. IMO the differences that separate us are insurmountable. Personally, I'll never accept the whole insane LGBT Agenda. Don't get me started on the tranny thing. Some things are just not negotiable. IMO the last mid-term election just solidified the grid-lock.

Instead of the six smaller nation-states, I would opt out for four, including a gathering of states in the southeast. Each of those 'federations' would be completely autonomous (I don't want California or New York involved in any way with our federation). Nothing to prevent mutually beneficial trade agreements.

But the problem I see with implementation of your proposal? The current states are accustomed to sucking on that government tit. Politicians (including those in the Red States) talk tuff, but when push comes to shove, they fall in line to get their share of government handouts.

Having said all that, this would be a good start.....

all states include large or enormous minorities of the other party.

even Texas.

the 6 or 4 regional nations would each include millions of Other voters.

ohio may have identical numbers. the state legislature gerrymandering gets ohio more house wins but state totals are closer.
look at Pennsylvania.
georgia.
close election says the proposed splits do not yeild your desired effect.
rural oregon is redneck.
rural northern california is redneck hunt fish farm.

.....so what's the solution?

In the meantime the crooked democrats continue to import democrat voters in the form of an invasion of illegals across our southern border.

Have you heard the latest proposals by the democrats? Absurd proposals like letting illegals vote, and Social Security and SSI payments to illegal aliens.

Texas would go it alone. OK goes with the western states, AR and LA go with the southern states.

F that....that would just lead to 6 more bloated central governments.

We have states. Just expand and honor the 10th amendment.

Houston??? Austin???. Visiting Texas is like a cross of visiting Detroit inner city, (Houston) Mexico (El Paso through San Antonio) and Californian (Austin) and a remnant of what use to be Texas that has turned into Wine Vinyards Seems the biggest thing happening in Texas is being taken over by California right now. Would the Bushes or Newsom run everything?

These 2 won't mix as well as you would hope. Texas being some kind of "conservative" haven is just mythical at this point. They've allowed way to many CA companies to come in forcing their CA HR values onto the state.

They are currently in legislative session there, so keep an eye on if they are able to get legit anti-grooming laws in place. If they don't do it now they never will, so forget about TX.

Hell they can't even seem to understand how negative it is having democrats as head of important committees...so yeah it's really smart to put lefties in charge of committees when you want to get bills out of them.

The GOPe in Austin will destroy that state. And I doubt TEXIT has a shot if it depends on the people in charge. Heck...Soros has way more power in the state than a group of well intentioned people. Sad, but true.

I've gone down way to many rabbit holes regarding Texas' current politics, and definitely losing respect for the state, especially when comparing to the direction FL is going. Ideally TX and FL would be out doing each other for the most conservative state in the Union, but TX is getting further and further in FLs rearview at this point. They may do something small to get headlines, but they'll have no chest behind it when it comes down to Sonic knuckle-checking time.

Look into this guy...TX Rep Speaker Dade Phelan. He got all but like less than 5 votes for this session. He seems to be a grade A wolf in sheep's clothing.

TexasScorecard website on how this guy is gay-friendly. Seems to be a solid site to keep tabs on what's going on in that state.

We don't need 6 nation states. We need 50 states. All states contribute to a national security system. Go back to our original roots

Texas is a behemoth state.
We have our share of anti-freedomers.
But throwing up our hands and doing nothing isn’t an option.
