They had leverage with the 88K IRS additions and did nothing with it. Same for trillions in spending. Same with every bit of spending. Congress controls purse strings but Congress stands for “compromised”.

Steve Bannon alone gets credit for this. Albeit it’s just for show, and Bannon will rightly scoff just like this Forum will. Anything less than scorched earth politics and lawfare is useless. Like tits on a boat hog, just there as a relic of what was or could have been.
