If their speech is being manipulated, someone behind the scenes is dong a a good deed.

They've been using that idiotic line for decades. They claim gun owners are the cowards yet these pants-crapping loons are afraid of inanimate objects with certain cosmetic features.

That’s a MASSIVE house to house and door to door task. Impossible to pull off and enforce without a tyrannical regime that 75% of the country bought into.
Realistically the worst case scenario would be that most firearms are outlawed with a voluntary turn in period after which being caught in possession of one would result in severe jail time.
There is no federal database of who owns what, or how many firearms, many will be buried or hidden as soon as a confiscation started. Every house that has to be searched would have to be approached with the possibility it could turn into a armed confrontation . It would logistically and tactically extremely difficult to make even a small dent in the number of firearms that are owned.

Easier to say in his secluded all white neighborhood protected by his security fence.

Cops are no different than the rest of us, and will put their families first. They will also use the opportunity to hammer opposing economic and political interests.
Louisiana has conservative cops but none of that stopped gun confiscation during Katrina. For anyone thinking cops won't engage in confiscation, see Katrina. Anybody know or hear of any law enforcement personnel step up to stop confiscation during Katrina? I hate to say this but if they can get away with it, they will. Doesn't mean they like it but they'll do it.

The only thing that can keep that in check is a massive amount of brutal and relentless violence against enforcers.
Gun owners have the numbers but would need leadership and get organized.

If two guys jump out of a plane, one with a parachute and one without.......the first guy isn't a coward.
The 2nd guy is stupid.

It's never stopped police from doing anything. Ever. People are fricking crazy if they think that the cops are gonna stand between them and the state. The cops ARE the state's hand. It's not hard to understand this.

I’d tell the cop I’m a traveler and only subject to Earth rules.

I have zero registered guns. As far as the law knows I do not possess a single gun of any kind

To make a law that extreme would require a 2a repeal. That can’t happen. I mean, anything is possible, but 75% people MAY be able to agree with bump stocks being gone. Never get that number to agree that ALL should be gone. I’m liberal as frick for this board, but that’s not a world I want to live in. I just love silver pistols too much. Lol. Or nickel or tungsten... whatever the hell alloy the use today.

Like I said in above post, if they can get away with it, they will. Strange thing about Katrina was that while 30% of NOPD deserted their post, I didn't see nor hear any desertions when it came time to confiscate guns.

Hopefully the Mayor would announce in advance that such a visit is coming.

Progressives- "it is impossible for the Fed Gov to deport 11 million illegal aliens."
Progressives-" The Fed Gov can confiscate 400 million guns going door to door."

I close the door and refuse to cooperate.

False. It's actually rather simple because the 2A is violated all the time as it is. For instance, the 2A doesn't say that "felons", or "domestic abusers" cannot own firearms. It says "shall not be infringed". Yet most people think it's entirely reasonable that felons can't own firearms, or that "crazy" people, or "terrorists" shouldn't own them. It's incredibly easy to legally classify virtually anyone in a way that makes it seem legitimate to violate the 2A. Most of the people on this "conservative" board would agree with all manner of 2A violations.
