That news station is woke. When blacks kill whites in the city, there's no sympathy news piece made. They just make a routine story if anything and they quickly move on.

I guess the grocery store owner is totally ok with the norm of black on black murder that happens in that area not daily, but hourly.

This guy is 1000% more likely to get killed by a black person in his neighborhood.

Black toddlers asleep in their beds getting shot and killed buy black men makes local news for a day or two. A white guy shooting black people makes national news for weeks.

Yes, but no. The primary difference is the respective races of the murderer and the victims.

Remember the Waukesha parade massacre from last year where six people were killed? Reported on, then forgotten. What wasn't all that widely reported was the driver's anti-white, racist tirades on social media. A few online articles contained the information, but it was largely ignored by broadcast and print media (whereas this asshat's racist screed is mentioned in every story). Dovetailing into that is the fact that almost none of the stories (broadcast as well as print/online) mentioned that he was black and all of his victims were white.

As a footnote, among the various racist tripe he had scrawled on his gear, the Buffalo shooter had carved some of the names of the Waukesha victims into his weapon. This intersects with the media bias as hardly any media outlets are mentioning the latter while far more are mentioning the former.

Another glaring example of this comes when we compare the George Floyd incident to that of Tony Timpa. Virtually identical incidents about a year apart, one gets loads of media coverage right off the bat (so, not counting the protests, rallies and riots) while the other gets reported pretty much just locally (except for those, like myself, making the comparison to show the media bias).

We also can look at the differences in amount and style of coverage of the Ahmad Aubery or Trayvon Martin killings versus that of Cannon Hinnant.

CNN: No mention of race.
AP: No mention of race. And again.
NBC NY: No mention of race.
NBC Raliegh: No mention of race.
ABC Raliegh: "Race" mentioned only because that's the grandfather's last name.
ABC Los Angeles: No mention of race.
ABC Philadelphia: Guess what? That's right, no mention of race here either.
Yahoo News: Ditto.

And again, this is against the backdrop that the media never mentions that not only do blacks annually commit the largest amount of homicides every year when broken down by race (both in total and per capita), but blacks kill whites at an average of 2x the rate whites kill blacks. In every major city (and many minor ones), the areas with the most aggravated assaults and homicides are the poor, black neighborhoods.

What this all does is help to perpetuate the narrative that racist whites are the major predators of society.
