70% of births being on the dole is a problem that doesn't require air quotes.

Why should it be a financial burden for people to have kids?

Funny as I was just billed $40k by a hospital for a child birth and insurance doesn’t want to cover it.

Right. So why not just make it 100 percent of births and you wouldn't have this problem

The United States encourages and awards this behavior.

Poors know kids are the ticket to free money, so as soon as they are legal they need a sperm donor.

But can’t get married.

And we wonder why there’s so many fatherless kids getting in trouble.

Better question is why should other people having kids be a financial burden on me?

I paid for mine that should be good enough.

Yeah, why not give them an extra 20k for the first six moths of the child’s life? Then maybe further bonuses on the 1st and 2nd birthdays

Why should it be a financial burden for taxpayers to pay for illegals and non tax paying citizens to have kids? It’s ok yall, spit them out and the working class will pick up the tab. Not only the tab for the birth but the tab for an extremely high percentage of them for their time on this earth.

65% for Arkansas. They give it to people that don't need it. When my daughter had my grandson we had her and the baby on BCBS. She lived with us and we told them we pay anything insurance didn't cover. She never filled out the paperwork they sent her. The hospital applied for her and got it. I made clear that we didn't want or need it and I wasn't going to be complicit with insurance fraud. Didn't matter. Medicaid paid what BCBS didn't.

He got med flighted to Children's in LR from Fayetteville almost two years later for precaution after he got one of my wife's BP pills in his mouth. Tested positive for COVID without symptoms. They kept him two days. Once again privately insured, but since she was a single mom they put him on Medicaid. We didn't request it, told them we didn't need it but they did it anyway. Both Children's hospitals and the air ambulance got PAID. 100% of billed charges or damn near it by the time they were done. I wonder how many of those percentage truly need it? I do know 83% of the children in our county are on medicaid. There are plenty of jobs with insurance available.
