By the time we realize they have destroyed the Country we will be killing each other for food!

Then they cut the power and watch rats really kill each other!

They have sold us out for a new Rome in Europe!

This is the great reset!

You have to know what to look for.

Trucks or foreign cars? Not many available.

Domestic sedans? I bet there are still a ton of them.

Just be honest and state publicly that you hope that the USA collapses and is invaded and conquered by China.

I'd rather order a Tesla or Rivian online than deal with management at Greenway Kia and I don't give a crap where my lawn guy gets his gear. Good riddance.

I don't know if it's that drastic, but I do expect a bloodbath. We have struggled with finding a couple vehicles this year. I think the combination of inventory issues, and advances with online sales of cars, dealers are going to lose a shiat ton of share to Carvana and the like.

Restaurants can't keep this up. While there are restaurants that are doing good business, there are many here and in places we frequent that have reduced hours, remained takeout only, or face crazy wait times. A sad ding is that long waits and sub-par food due to crappy employees means that would-be repeat customers will simply not return.

Retailers are cleaning up, but the reality is the situation is fricked up. Stockrooms overflowing because they can't get it out fast enough. Messy shelves because they don't have staff. Trash/recycle that can't be picked up. Trucks that can't be received. And so on.

We had at least $5million in canceled orders this season simply because the retailers couldn't receive it.

Talking to a friend of mine at a much larger company in the same industry, they have lost over $100 million this season in canceled orders.

Venezuelans can’t get car parts or Cuba this is the first collapse of an Economy! No Supply! Prices will not come down without supply pressure basic economics dumba$$

New forklift lead times are running 40-60 weeks right now (usually have plenty of new inventory for most specs). It’s creating another bottleneck in the supply chain.

I get your overall premise, but where are the numbers coming from? 50% and 70%? Is this a prediction or was it something published?

50% of car dealerships are not closing or are going to close...

Most major dealerships are having inventory issues, but gross profits are through the roof, because people are paying MSRP+ on new units.
