It comes down to the federal printing press.
And here we have the wellspring of the continuing crisis.
The primary job of the UniParty® is to give legitimacy to the Deep State while the primary job of the Deep State is to keep the money-printing machine greased and running.
This is why a vote in this UniParty® charade is a vote for the left or right wing of the Deep State.

That's the JOB of national politicians to direct govt funds to different areas of their constituency for their welfare!
Yes.
It says so in the Preamble to the Declaration of the Bill of Rights. Or something like that.
I tend to get a little fuzzy on the details but I remember learning something about that in my 9th Grade Civics Class. I’m just glad we have a real government scholar here to explain it all to us.

Term Limits then
Lobbying and insider trading illegal punishable at the gallows. Just slam down the corruption.

You seem to be nothing more than some looney conspiracy theorist who has the secrets of the new world order completely figured out and wants to tell everybody how smart he is for having done so.
Man, please!

Not what I said.
But you already know that, don’t you little man?

Mo Brooks is a verifiable hero. He single handily saved Steve Scalise’s life.

Brooks will get my vote

None of the five senators have donated to Brooks’s campaign, according to FEC records.
Five traitors that need to be voted out. Thankfully they have outed themselves like Cassidy has done in La.
Trump has caused many crooked politicians to out themselves. If people don't like Trump, you have to like the fact that politicians have outed themselves as being traitors to this country, due to their hatred for Trump.
J McCain and voted to keep nobamacare when he campaigned for years against it. His true character was revealed when he cast that vote. Romney has shown that he too is aligned with the Deep State instead of the USA.

He’s a shite stain, just like Roy Moore and Tommy Tuberville, but too many people lack any objective reasoning whatsoever and instead will toss the salad of anyone Trump tells them to, so he has that going for him.

The reason you see his name on so many buildings is because he was responsible for the funds it took to build them.
They hate Congress for spending too much, but love their congressmen for bringing home all the gimmies.

He should at least make noise about funding challengers to them.

Katie Britt is a RINO of the worst kind.
Posted on 12/5/21 at 10:44 pm to WPBTiger
I know this is frustrating but we should embrace it. It truly shows the real republican party who the traitors are.
The thing I don't understand is WHY they'd do this. If you're a congressman, do you really want any of Trump's smoke?

Is Alabama going to screw this up again?

Yes, because of fools that think representatives jobs are to give away taxpayer money to wealthy special interests and their lobbyist armies. That their ability to lie, swindle and betray is worth every name on a building, fake diploma and truckload of lobby dollars they get. And that none of this bill to the federal printing press will ever come due.
Alabama is addicted to federal money like it’s crack. Some of its addicts in this thread have already made that clear. We could never touch Shelby, no matter how many times he showed his true democrat colors, precisely because of this and Britt is just Shelby in a skirt. All that billboard money comes from somewhere and it isn’t concerned citizens.

I think the word you are looking for is “taxpayers”. Richard Shelby didn’t do a damned thing except get rich on lobby cash and play the game. He and his kind ARE the problem.
He and his kind are the reason term limits all around are needed.

The dilemma is this... do we want more pork, or our future?
Unfortunately, we are in a fight for our lives and the freedoms of our children and future generations. Junior college buildings and highway funding cease to matter when our entire moral, social, and economic system is in the process of being transformed. Shelby is not standing up to these changes that will so negatively affect us and future generations.
So, would you rather have a swampBritt who will (possibly) bring home the pork by playing quid-pro-quo footsie in the swamp and not fighting their agenda as long as she gets the pork support, or a Moe Brooks who will stand in the gap along the last line of defense for us, unlike swampBritt.
In 10 years buildings and roads may be the least of our worries.
