For decades, my hope and prayer for American presidents was that they would accomplish nothing. In other words, do no harm. Now I've had to update those ideas. We need Trump to do more than just exceed what Harris would've done, which based on Biden would've been nothing or negative.

Now we need positive governance to get this country out of a downward economic spiral. Eliminate trade deficits, reverse the trend in budget deficits, bring industry, high tech and manufacturing, back home, stop importing people who depend on government support, reverse the trends in corruption and waste in Washington DC and the states, figure out some way to guarantee energy security for this country over the coming decades. Avoid military entanglements unless absolutely critical for US security.

That's a daunting list and more than can be done in 4 years but it has to start now. If the politicians of both parties in Washington DC plan to live out their lives in the US, they'd better come to their senses very soon. If we continue on the current economic path the dollar will fail, the country will fail and become ungovernable. I'm not feeling hopeful.

This is the primary fact which enables the democrats to be as sussessful as they appear to be in their opposition to all things Trump, just because he is Trump.

IF there were even a semblance of fairness in the media, democrats would long ago have had to change their rhetoric - or at least not act on it. But the media take every stupid & deplorable thing they say and support it - either with their silence on how stupid it is, or by actually promoting it with 'their reporting'

You NEVER - EVER see these words in the media covering some tidbit from the democrat side === "asserted without evidence" --- or "unverified allegation" ---- or "debunked conspiracy theory"
