Well I am guessing the gcc is the key.
That attack on a nuclear power plant was a mistake by the irgc.
Powermullah hates it but this is driving the gcc into closer relations with Israel

I doubt the IRGC is sitting on their hands waiting on the attack. The SOH may be shut down but the roads into Russia and Pakistan are not. Who knows what kind of shoulder fired anti-aircraft weapons have been brought in.
The IRGC has proven they are fanatics who will kill their own people. If we are ready we need to finish the job. If we walk away with the IRGC still in charge, we have made a colossal mistake.

The crazy thing is there is no evidence to suggest that they were making a nuke.
The only reason you possess that equipment is for military purposes.
The only reason you enrich that far is military.
The only reason you bury it that deep is military.
It’s military. Not civilian.
And I hope you aren’t suggesting we should just trust them to not finish. (Those who repeatedly target and murder children and civilians).

What is the GCC going to do?
They were demonstrating capability.

That was an idiotic display.

What is anyone going to about it?

Its a great object lesson in the need for a nuclear deterrent.

This is the idea Netanyahu sold him. He has been pushing that fantasy to our leaders for 20 years. What i really wonder is did Netanyahu actually believe it would work.

Well sooner or later the gcc will go all in to include Egypt and the Iranians are driving a new coalition that will include the hated Jews.
Everyone is sick of Hamas Hezbollah the Houthis and the bullshite
The GCC including the UAE are planning to supplant European banking in the future .
They can't continue to ignore these clowns led and funded by a dated and crazy entity called Iran.

How does this open the Strait of Hormuz? And how does it do it before we start hitting tank bottoms?

So in your opinion the only thing that matters is the SOH.

We don't know that. We, as in you and I and anyone on this board. The media doesn't know it either.
I don't discount the possibility for sure. But we don't know that it's true
Well you can trust the leaked CIA report or not that says 70% of their arsenal is intact. It does jibe with pre war estimates of Iran's capabilities and what we know they have fired so far. Also Trump and others in the administration never miss an opportunity to say the sunk their navy and destroyed their air force, whcih was never the threat, but never say they have eliminated their drone and missile arsenal....which was always the main threat. Folks keep asking why arent we finishing the job and this is what makes sense to me.

I didn’t say it was the only thing that matters. But it is now the geopolitical problem of the moment and it has to be addressed before things spiral further.
What’s the solution?
What’s the solution?

I'll confidently state this about Trump; he is determined to eek out every last drop of opportunity to avoid killing people, but when push comes to shove, he is bold and decisive.
This is not said enough. As much of a madman as they paint Trump, I truly believe he puts more value on human life than any president in my lifetime. The largest contributing metric to his decision-making always seems to be the avoidance of the loss of civilian life.

1)Ceasefire
2) Iran has agreed to a deal
3) Iran has renegged on the deal
4) We're going to bomb them
5) We're no longer going to bomb them
Start again at step 1

It demonstrated their ability to still attack precisely on infrastructure .Their whole goddamn Islamic revolutionary movement for the last 40 years is idiotic, but within the context of trying to keep their idiotic regime intact and possibly stave off bombing of their own infrastructure it was not a bad move imo.

I'm not saying it doesn't make sense. I'm only saying that we don't know what they have. Someone knows, but it isn't anyone outside of the administration. What you're saying may very well be true.
But I think there's a big difference between their missile arsenal and their drone arsenal. I believe they're limited on missiles, because I think that's what a lot of our initial strikes were focused on. I wouldn't doubt that they have a lot of those cheap drones and smaller arms left, though. And I believe that's where Iran's "threat" comes from. They don't have actual control of anything, IMO. What they have are threats, which scares Lloyds of London.
I believe that any ship that the US wants to pass through the straight will pass through the straight if it's important enough. We have ultimate control, IMO. But there's still risk involved. Too much risk to just escort ship after ship. All it takes is one successful strike by Iran to throw things sideways politically.

He doesn't have any decent options. Everything is bad.
The shitty one he chose, just stopping, was his least shitty choice as shitty as it was. He should stick with it.
He probably believed he could get regime change with a month of bombing. The people that told him this lie knew it was a lie they just wanted to get the bombing started.
They told Trump he would be lauded for remaking the middle east for a future of peace and prosperity for all.
A fantasy he bought to feed his ego. It was stupid on like 50 levels.
