fricking clown show. His threats don't work with suicidal maniacs running the country.
Trump let Israel, Military Complex, and RINOs convince him to start something they had no clear plan to end.

Let 47 work… these delays are strategic. It’s for our own benefit.

Nithing raises the moral like a good bombing

Bond yields were rising which is when Bessent becomes concerned. I think they are trying to get bond yields down. If he is going to order an attack it is likely going to be Friday after the market closes and the market is closed Monday for Memorial Day. That would give 3 days m for the market to prepare.
The 10-year yield has been tracking the price of oil for the most part. 10-year is around 4.6% now, which is well beyond the Trump “TACO” threshold. But now he has fewer and fewer options to tamp it down by saying peace is imminent, negotiations ongoing, etc. Also, the clock is ticking as about 14 Mb of oil is disappearing everyday that the Strait is closed. The 10 year should continue to rise as oil rises. We don’t have all that much time to find a solution before things start to get ugly.

Any chance Trump is just bluffing and he really does plan to bomb tomorrow?

What's your hypothesis on that?

I think Trump wants to end this. He just needs to get terms that he can stick to.
The Iranians don't seem to want to budge much on this

How much knowledge do you have of strategic war planning, supply chains/logistics, etc?

Yep. Hopefully it means there is some resolution in sight to where we are out of the picture

I'm not saying that the delays can't be of a benefit to us
I'm just wondering why you think it is a benefit to us
I can see the military strategy angle. I do NOT see the economic angle because that is simply not the case.

I tend to be in the camp with those who just want to get it on and force Iran's hand via the military. If that can be done. Unfortunately, none of know if that's possible.
Some thing this board and most discussions I hear in the media, particularly conservative media , over look or dont want to mention is that Iran still has enough firepower to retaliate and cause an even bigger....much bigger ...catastrophe in the region and economically for the world. That is why this "ceasefire" endures as both sides know the consequences in escalating to target infrastructure.

He wants to end it really bad. The catch is that he can’t end it without strategic defeat or massive escalation. Both options are really bad. What a shite situation.

Massive escalation? What does that mean to you?

Probably ground invasion
It should be noted that no aerial campaign has resulted in regime change in the short history that we have with aerial warfare.
