In rural areas Dr’s are quick to put people on Medicaid because it means they get paid.

Yes. It can be argued they stress the system the most. Just check any old human interest stories. You can nearly earn six figures and still qualify for Medicaid if you have a dependent with significant needs.
There’s numerous media human interest stories from parents testifying at the state capitol who’s children need $5k/mo prescriptions and $10k/mo specialized care.

We are surrounded by lazy, low IQ, addicts and alcoholics. Sure those people are everywhere but it just feels like a lot more in Louisiana.

Yes! I know tons of conservatives in my area of the south who love to talk shite about welfare but hen quietly go about collecting as much as they can from the government. Sadly, a lot of people like the idea of not talking social assistance more than they do in actually not taking social assistance.
