The real stat should be what % of births have absentee fathers? I know plenty of people who are in committed relationships that have kids and raise them as if they were married.

Births inside marriage is a strong symbol of white privilege and white nationalism. In the black community, births within marriage is being an Uncle Tom. Our JUDEO-Xian values champion birth outside marriage. Keep up the good work goyim.

Go look at the rates prior to Johnson's Great Society legislation, then rates after. Pay special attention to the african-american numbers.

I would argue it has more to do with the growing economic divide. Poor people have more kids thab rich people. When they die, they have nothing to give their offspring.
OTOH, married couples with fewer kids receive more assets and real property, who then in turn have fewer kids themselves.
It's a funneling effect of the nations assets to fewer and fewer people, while the poor multiply quicker with fewer things.
The growing inequality gap is a direct response to that.
