Now moving on to another topic

Successfully had all of you come out of the woodworks for "gimme mines."

But we are only 40 trillion in debt.

So I agree to give everyone that signs up 1 million dollars a year for life.

Now get back to the golf course.

But don't question the veterans that have filed claims to and are receiving benefits that they earned because the process doesn't match what you think it should be.
I will and you can’t do anything about it

This fraudulent gravy train is coming to an end in the next 20 years. Get over it

Injuries during service + father time taking its toll on body equals an increase claims. Word of mouth increases it exponentially.

Do you think a specific injury any “Father Time” are the same thing? IOW, should vets be compensated for both?

Nothing in your post history indicates you’re of even average intelligence.

In reality, you’re a stereotypical blue collar worker that would have served but (insert preferred excuse here) bozo that veterans are all too familiar with.

Agree. Don't live far from a huge VA facility.
Met several at a local dive bar and was full of day time
drinkers and almost were in on the PSTD disability scam.

Bartender told me they were there a minimum of 3 days a week

You do realize that this is not a criteria for receiving VA disability? You can have a high rating and still be a high earner. The two have nothing to do with each other. You may have the opinion that its not right and as a taxpayer you are entitled to your opinion but don't fault the veteran for taking advantage of a benefit they earned.

i agree with you that there is a lot of misunderstanding of what disability is and isnt in the civilian world. and as someone else stated, it probably would help lessen this miscommunication if they changed the name of it. that said, it's hard for ANYONE to swallow the notion of guys who have been given a 90-100% disability rating and collecting a large payment every month while also running fitness IG pages and posting thier crazy good CrossFit WOD and Murph times. it just doesnt compute. and the number of vets doing that exact thing is legion.

boots come into the military today from day one already having their eye on their future disability rating. they are in medical and physical therapy every day for so called injuries. there are mutiple 18-22 year olds where i go to physical therapy in there every day for vague back, knee, neck, etc injuries. THAT'S the fraud. it's not the twenty year veteran collecting disability for a career of wear and tear. it's the perfectly health 18-22 year olds whose full time job while they are active duty is "getting it in my record" for bullshite nebulous injuries that cant be proven or disproven.

i know some of you guys are getting really mad that i keep saying this is happening and you really dont want to believe me, but i promise you that it is, and it is rampant. it is absolutely just part of the military culture now, especialyl among the young troops. and it makes sense because they are simply a reflection of the entitled culture that raised them in th last 20 years. there is nothign magical about the oath of enlistement that suddenly makes them all honest and have integrity. sure, it's not all of them, but it's a large, large percentage.

It is a problem, I just don't know how prevalent it is, I guess I've been out for too long. I would think that would be pretty easy to weed out though, also, hit them as hard as they can for fraud.

that's what needs to happen, sort of as a "reset", but it's a complete non-starter politically because the fallout woudl be.... well, look at this thread for a good idea of it.

i think that's a big part of the miscommunciation and antagonism in this very thread. guys that cant or dont want to believe that such entitlement is so rampant among the young troops these days. i dont want to believe it either, because it sucks. but i see it every day.

It’s a good thing this discussion is happening on the internet rather than a Waffle House. It seems like getting a government check makes you act like other groups that get a government check
