Which Republican candidate could win the nomination and not be attacked by the left like Trump?

No doubt Biden is worse but it is pretty pathetic that it is likely these two will be our choice.

And your point?

Does this justify nominating a guy will lead Republicans to slaughter next year?

Yeah but Biden’s I favorability rating is like 75%. There are plenty of republicans with unfavorable views of Trump that are currently supporting the other candidates in the primary, and if (and let’s be honest, when) Trump wins the primary and the choice becomes between Trump and Biden, they will vote Trump. Trump probably taps out at about 45% of the population backing him, which is all he has ever had and which is all he needs.

Enough of us will either stay home, or vote 3rd party like I plan too. I am in a swing state and he stupidly attacked our popular governor. He will lose Georgia again

Americans say that Trump’s actions after the 2020 presidential election did more to threaten democracy

How is questioning an election a threat to democracy? It is literally the one thing that separates us from a complete totalitarian form of government. Clinton, Abrams, Gore, Kerry, etc. all questioned the results of the elections that they were in. The biggest difference is that the FEDS incited a riot on Jan 6th, Trump did not.

It’s infuriating that people refuse to acknowledge it.

I think some of the Trumpers know it's true. They're playing for the nomination, a loss in the GE then hoping for chaos and some sort of revolt. They're willing to follow Trump right off the side of a cliff.

The GOPe is no longer The Party of GWB, McCain and Romney.
It's now the Party of the forgotten working class.

My point is "Which candidate could be selected that will not be relentlessly attacked by the left?" You obviously want others to change whom they support. I want you to tell me which one will not be treated the same.

If you havent already begun to accept another Democrat running things for 4 years you arent keeping up with the current trade winds.

Populists turned the best Conservative Govenor in the last 2 decades into a meme.
