I remember when the Hollywood celebrities all threatened to leave if (name any Republican since Ike) got elected President. These people are liars. They didn't leave. I'd carry their bags to the airport or boat dock if they would leave. I'd give them lunch money if they would. You just can't trust them to leave. So when they threaten secession, I just laugh.

If we gave them those states, we would have a well fortified wall on the borders with Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming, and Arizona within months as people attempted to flee and the commies attempted to keep them in.

We still have Alaska. We could easily have a large Naval presence in the Anchorage or Juneau area if necessary.
We also still have Hawaii.
