America has been constantly monitoring this situation for decades, with the usual thought in mind of a given President to patch something up, claim success, then kick the worst aspects of it down the road to the next President. For decades we’ve been observing and saying the same shite, time after time, this or that needs to be done, some thing or another will have to be addressed before we have a whole new paradigm in geopolitics, etc etc. Now, you can try to say that all those countless people, people with direct and personal experience and knowledge of the subject, etc, that you’re right and that mass of people are wrong, but I’d advise against it, for your own wellbeing.

Bottom line, it’s a bit strange that you and others are trashing the President that FINALLY is a doer, not talker, and actually acted.

I’ve done so several times on this board already but sure.

Ground troops take several strategic islands in and around the strait. This denies the enemy those islands to launch attacks on shipping in the strait and also provides a forward base to establish more air defenses on. They will also be heavily targeted by Iranian missiles and drones further depleting enemy weapons stores. When the Iranians fire these missiles and drones we will have an opportunity to strike at the launch sites.
