Arizona better watch it. Same with North Carolina. Northeasterners and Californians bring their political views with them most of the time. Just ask Washington, Colorado and Virginia how it worked out.

The message here is conservatives are more principled. The data shows that Democrats complain but deep down they like lower taxes and crime rates, so they talk a good virtue signaling game but when push comes to shove, they stay in red states.

Conservatives realize they cannot live in states with sanctuary cities, soft on crime judges and DAs, insane woke BS like boys playing girls sports, so they move to find sanity (and more business opportunities) in red states.

Not a surprise at all. Lefties are unreasonable, irrational and nutty, but they aren't necessarily stupid.

We need to put border walls around blue states to keep the locusts in and only allow migration from conservatives

That’s not been true in FL.

Only time will tell.

Dims have been historical politically retarded and refused to learn from their mistakes. I won't believe they can change until I see an anecdote become a pattern become a norm.

The influx of younger tech workers that have flocked to the booming sector in the OKC area hasn't shown an uptick in blue votes either, yet, but I still remain cautiously pessimistic.

This is not a good thing. Eventually, they'll buy all the red state politicians (who aren't already bought), turn them blue and ruin them.

Also, property values have skyrocketed out of the realm of affordability for normal Southern folk.

All money ain't good money.

People forget Romney got more total votes in Cali than he did in Texas.
His total in Cali was roughly equivalent to what he got in Louisiana Kentucky Oklahoma Arkansas and Kansas combined.

These are not “Progressives” leaving. They have a hive mentality and need constant re-affirmation that they are better/smarter/correct from the echo chamber they live in. There could be some reformed moderate Dems, aka Elon Musk, that are no longer comfortable with how far left the progressives have moved.

Wrong.
Put the fence around your own state and be selective about what you let in. Anyone can leave, but gets reviewed to return.

I wonder if this concept is unconstitutional?

They will have to crash first, Like New York, if wall street leaves maybe, but if not, they will have to crash. THe public sector unions are to powerful in New York and Cali for real change to happen, IMO.

Does drive me a bit nuts that conservative states aren't spending money on PSAs telling newbs "welcome, but assimilate". "Don't forget why you left, so do t kill your new host".

No doubt ... but Mittens was a sacrificial lamb to Obama.

Only hard corp Republicans voted in that election ... many abstained, unfortunately.

I've said this for years. States should implement a quota system on who they allow to reside in the state.

Constitutionally, you have the right to travel anywhere you wish, but you don't necessarily have a right to remain indefinitely. The SC has never issued a ruling on that narrow issue.

I'm surprised at the big gap between Florida and Texas. We are constantly hearing about large companies relocating to Texas. Of course, that graphic only goes through '23. Maybe the gap would be narrower if it went through the end of '25.
