Imagine in 10 years being able to visit Iran and go to Mass or church while you're there.

Got a long way to go still. I've seen some legitimate videos of the hordes of regime-supporters that still exist in Iran. There are MANY of them. Those who wish to actually be an Iran that is free of regime subjugation, will have a very protracted fight on their hands against upjumped extremist zealots.

Why do people think Christianity is growing so fast there? It really did not have much of a presence right before the 1979 Revolution.
Are missionaries even allowed?

Iran, Syria, Egypt, Armenia, Turkey, etc were all Christian prior to the Arabs coming out of the Arabian peninsula. For 7 centuries prior to the start of the Crusades Islam reigned after killing and forcing Islamic religions on everyone at the point of a sword.

It's probably true that there is general revulsion at the ruling Muslims.

It's amazing how much Christianity expands and Islam contracts when people are no longer forced to be Muslim at the edge of the sword.

No one is forced at sword point in America and Christianity is shrinking.

That's been a default setting of Iran since the 7th century. So what about the other 1300 years?

Two things are different now.
1. This has been a particularly brutal regime.
2. The people of Iran have been exposed to modernity.

Yes, this has been a natural reaction to using a state religion. Even still, the regime has a lot of very devoted supporters. The Iranians I've met in the West are almost exclusively atheist though.

I've seen pictures on X of new train and subway stations in Tehran with relief murals of Jesus and Mary. Hard to believe this is true given the narrative from the U.S. and Israel governments of how harsh the Iranians are to Christians.

I’d bet my bottom dollar those are fabrications.

Iran was predominantly Zoroastrian before the arrival of Islam.

So in theory, 50k Mosques closing means what?
There will be an even more saturated market of Halloween Spirit Stores this October.

In all seriousness, Iran is a Muslim country with Sharia Law in place since 1979. Renouncing Islam and converting to Christianity is apostasy, punishable by death. Not to mention homosexuality is punishable by death, a man can beat his wife, just to name a few. This is not against the law in Iran, it is protected, and has been since 1979. The fact that Islam is shrinking and Christianity is growing is a positive for freedom of religion, and basic human rights.

Yup. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the Arabs are the sole reason why almost all of the Middle Eastern countries became Muslim.

You can thank countries like Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Oman for being the initial aggressors in spreading the cancer that is Islam.

Iran was never majority christian and never close to being it either. The minority of Christians who lived in iran were usually Armenians, Assyrians and non Persians.

As others have already mentioned, the Persians were zoroastrians for centuries before Islam and christianty even existed

This is what the Middle East looked like in 570AD (when Mohammed was born)
