Roast Beef Po-Boy in Baton Rouge

I've been in BR for about 6 years and have not had a good roast beef po-boy ever here. I'm craving one today, any ideas on where to pick one up? I'd prefer the pot roast type but I'll take anything at this point. Thanks

i've been here for about 6mths and every one I've had has been claimed the best in the city..... none of which are worth a damn. I'd like to know where a really good one is as well....

Not a Poboy, but the pot roast sandwiches at Zeeland are great.

Tonys seafood. Pepper jack cheese, gravy, and pressed.

Not feeling the charm of Pocorello's. Most importantly, the much hailed poboys are at best meh. Sammy's prime rib poboy or even Jay's would be preferable to their roast beef poboy, for example. Secondarily, the old woman who took my order acted like she was doing me a damn favor by deigning to acknowledge me, and the trashy daughter(?) loudly cursed like a sailor while having some inane conversation with her co-workers the whole time I was waiting for my order, which had to be 10 minutes at the least. I can't recall a worse experience at a retail establishment, and their cash payment requirement is like the icing on a shite cake, "shite" being one of the daughter(?)'s most used words, just what I want to hear over and over while waiting on my food.

Used to like the one from Uncle O's but I don't go since he moved to Sherwood.

I also don’t get the love for this place.
I heard so many great things about the place, how great their meatballs and spaghetti sauce were yada yada yada. The meatballs were tasty but the sauce was too sweet and tasted burned. On top of that the service is horrible. Old Man at the counter is grumpy, the people in the kitchen yelling and cussing at each other and they act like they are doing you a favor by selling you food. Forget that, I will take my ca$h elsewhere.
