Been waiting on a trailer since they did a segment for this at Comic Con.
Elba being in it is awesome. Has a nice Evangelion meets Cloverfield type vibe.

Looks pretty cool, but why do they have to build giant robot suits? Why don't they just bomb them or call Mintberry Crunch.

the robot suits actually kind of kill it for me. It just reminds me of the 80's cheese-fest, Robot Jox (with Mick Jagger). Terrible, terrible shite. It will probably still be awesome (Elba and Del Toro alone make it a must-see), but...fricking robot suits...?

Good point. But suspending disbelief in matters of the supernatural is easy. Most monster origin stories are pretty ridiculous, but this is just simple physics.
