Do you just go by word of mouth from friends/family? Do you only listen to the radio? Do you visit websites that release free mixtapes/demos/Ep's?

I usually hear of people from friends and I also visit thatsongissick.com

Consequence of Sound

Also, if I use iTunes, I usually type in a more popular artist and skim through pages and pages of "Listeners Also Bought" to find other artists.

Or in the Alternative section of iTunes, they have "Albums Under $8" which has some good stuff every so often.
