If someone wants to they can show them the science of how plants also do not like to be eaten and react negatively to it.

PETAs very existence is self-negating.

The rules they want to apply to human behavior only make sense if humans are of a higher nature than animals, and if we are both naturally occurring and of a higher nature than animals, then it makes sense for us to have dominion over them. Nothing else is even possible.
Now, it doesn’t follow that we should wantonly destroy them or be cruel to them, but it does follow that we can make use of them in some ways.

Treating them as food is an entirely natural and appropriate use for them, and it is logically indefensible to attempt to deny humans the use of animals as food.

Also, of COURSE they are big on LGBTQueer pride. It’s deconstructionism allllll the way down.
