Yea I wouldn't be big on hunting them but if I was on my stand or walking a trail and saw one I'd drop it. That bitch is huge
Just curious, would any of the posters who said they wouldn't kill one shoot a coyote if it walked out on you hunting?

I would kill the shite out of that thing! I know a guy who goes on a yearly sea lion hunt with some bigwig politicians.

Where does he hunt sea lions? I know they are protected on the west coast. They piss the hell out of people salmon fishing. Will take a salmon right off your line.
They go 100 miles up the Columbia river and hangout right in front of the fish ladders at Bonneville dam.

I'd definitely kill a yote.... those things are a nuisance.

What's sea lion taste like?

Probably not good. He was definitely hunting out of the U.S., I just can't recall where he said he was.

They serve no useful purpose. They like to eat the same things I like, cows, deer, poultry. So I have no problem with their demise.
Man took the role as the top predator when gunpowder was invented. So save all the natural order talk.

Like protecting man from giant bears and saber toothed cats? Or being the genetic code for all dog breeds? And having biological balance in the eco system where the the wolf pack was the top predator? Are you truly this stupid?

You boomed the wrong post.

You posted while I was typing the BOOM
I definitely don't want them wiped out. And I agree with your post. I do find it interesting that in trying to protect them and reintroduce them they turned them into a big problem. We looked at this in ecology in the beginning of the semester.
I don't think of it the same as going to Africa and shooting zebras or giraffes. The wolves are becoming a nuisance and they're just trying to keep the population from growing any bigger.
ETA that was a somewhat sarcastic boom btw

Yep, as far away from me as possible.

It amazes me how little some hunters know about predator-prey relationships.

LOL... Like keeping the deer herd from overpopulating. Ignorance isn't bliss in this circumstance.
