I laughed all the way through this thread. I was sad to see they got it out.

Funny thing about that was there was some weird kid tripping on acid in my passenger seat when it happened. He smashed his head into the windshield, and then was knocked out. There was hair on the outside of my windshield he hit so hard. I just broke my nose, but this guy was bleeding everywhere. Tried to wake him up, but he was way out of it, so I opened the door and pushed him out with my foot. The fricking guy just took off running and I never saw him again.....until Carlotta 3 years later. He was tripping again and had a huge scar on his forehead. I talked to him, and he had zero idea how it happened.

Hopefully they saved the Weather Tech floor mats! Probably all that's left that is worth anything.

I wonder if they could have taken some PVC pipe and shoved it under the wheels to break the suction...

Just pulled off of Elmers headed back to the BR. They got the truck off the island. No sign of it anywhere on Elmers. Was hoping it would still be out there

Didn't fish, decided to sleep in. From what we saw on the pass through Elmers we didn't miss much. Water was dirty, really dirty.

I am bringing my ten year old daughter out there tomorrow. Really just going to bank fish and hit the cuts around Elmer's Island. Not surf fishing with her. Time to just hang out with dad and make memories. Any of y'all caught anything this morning?

I didn't fish today. Drove down Elmers and didn't see much action the water was dirty. I don't know what the weather is suppose to do tomorrow, but if it gets better you could catch some fish out there. Friday we caught 50 trout in about an hour and a half.

That's what I don't understand.. Who in their right mind drives their truck into salt water?

My neighbor, who I've known for over 45 years, did the same to his 1979 Trans Am only a few months after he got it, way back in high school.

He figured he'd go on the sand, do a few donuts and impress the chicks at Holly Beach...

Naturally after doing that he thought it would be fun to ride along the edge of the surf and throw the spray. You can guess what happened next.

Two four wheel drive trucks chained together couldn't budge him. Bye bye Trans Am and Screaming Chicken decal.

We tried pulling him out. It wasn't budging with 2 3/4 ton diesels and a 1 ton.

Then we just sat
Back and drank watching them

We watched a chain break or come unhooked when they had the tractor trying to pull him out and it popped a dude in the face. He left in the back of a truck headed to the hospital covered in blood

I ended up with 3 keepers. Didnt see anyone else having success. I called it quits and rolled out at about 8 am. As said before, water was dirty.
