Well I’ve missed the last two bucks is shot at.
Have cataracts on both eyes that seem to getting worse. It’s hell to get old. But I’m gonna keep hunting till I drop.

and you know 90% of the reason he did it was just to be able to brag about it like to that guy at Academy. I guess maybe there's chance he has a brady bunch at home and can actually use all that meat.

All you guys that have not gotten a deer, is it because you are to selective, not seeing deer, limited by what you can legally kill?

Are yall hunting public or private land?

Ive been lucky enough to hunt various private lands all my life for deer. Even luckier to now own my own land and lease other. I hunt in pike county, a relatively poor county for deer but see deer 90+% of the time i go.

They only seem to be coming out at night. I've got some monsters on camera.

I don't have a single kill this season. I am only hunting with my crossbow this year though. Hoping I see something soon...

How much pressure they getting put on'em? Seen them go nocturnal overnight from suddenly having too many good ole boys knocking on their front door. Around here the boys are chasing the girls, but they're not quite letting them have any fun. (Three in the freezer)

Yeah, frick that guy. Too bad you couldn't stick around to report his arse. Good-for-nothing scum like that is why our wildlife isn't what it could be. I don't care if he's poor and that's all he eats (chances are, he's not). He's breaking the law if he uses another tag.

Also, no deer yet for me. I see them going in and coming out, but never while hunting. They've been nearly nocturnal in one spot I hunt since October, and almost every place I go has more hog sign than deer sign.

I haven't shot a deer in 3 years, but that is because my kids go (periodically)and they end up shooting the deer. We have enough meat and I see no need to shoot a buck unless he is a trophy. I keep hunting though, because you never know when ol' Bullwinkle will show up.

Only 1 doe with my bow. Been to s Texas a couple of times, but didn’t shoot anything. Rifle hunting doesn’t really do it for me anymore

Got my first bow kill for meat. Then got super selective and got my first trophy buck. Only hunter on private land except for two weekends a year. I'm setting up some hunts for kids and genuine hunters to thin a few older bucks out this week before season is over.
