I thought you could carry in an airport as long as you don't go past the security check. Is that right or wrong??
I carry everyday ,I'm retired.

This guy can. Keep it in a holster attached to my desk.

I'm not sure about "can" but I do. Partners I work with are all pro gun and I regularly get called in to give input about some bulk ammo buy, subsonic rounds, suppressors, etc. So I assume it's ok.

It's disputed. Atlanta had a big debate over it a year or two ago, and I can't remember the outcome.

I wouldn't recommend it, but as a practical matter, I'm sure people do it regularly.

Nope, federal facility. Leads to a fenced in, vulnerable population of thousands.

In Texas the law is very clear

Sorry -- missed that you're in Texas. I learned about Texas' law when granddaughter was born in Houston.

I think most hospitals in La. are posted, but am presuming it's driven more by insurance issues than by statute.

Wait, no. Big liability if they shoot someone on company time.

This is the big problem that allows people to be powerless when they're put in hairy situations by their own employer.

I don't work in a dangerous industry but disarming good people by law simply makes them targets for assailants.

To answer your question, no I can't carry at work. But I can guarantee that about 75% of the cars in our parking lot have firearms in them.

Carried almost every night at my old job. Somebody lit a black cat one time and every one of my employees ducked and immediately looked at me.

Can't with my current jobs. OSHA would have a conniption fit. Feel naked without tj and about 1/2 the time I could get to one in a hurry if need be.

I can carry at work. I'm a Crop Insurance Adjuster tho so if I'm not in my office at my house, I'm in a field looking at crops.

Atlanta's airport (Hartsfield Jackson Int'l.) lost that case.

You can't carry in the "sterile" portion (where you get wanded//scanned//patted down, but you can carry in the rest of the terminal.
