Separate banking accounts. I handle most of the bills and mortgage. She pays for her car/insurance and some small bills.
We were both burnt by joint accounts our first rounds.

Had some good footage of him trailing and catching a couple Axis after your video. Good dog.

Like one of the others said, you will have to find the bullet that your gun likes to shoot. I have the Winchester M70 Super Grade in 300WM and I am shooting the Hornady 200gr ELD X. 3 shot group under .5 MOA at 100. Using a 4-14x56 Leupold VX3L w/CDS.
I think this would be totally dependent on how much YOU really love living on the bayou. You already know about what can be built on the bayou vs a bigger landlocked lot. Now there is a personal decision to be made.
To answer your subject line question, for me it would be 3-4 acres of land over 1/2 ac or so lot. I don't like living right next to someone.
Maybe a main house on a big landlocked lot and then a camp on the bayou.

Yes I actually did look for her but not real hard as they kinda had me gun shy of stepping off in those weeds.

Now you are assuming I had no reason. Not that I need a reason to kill a poisonous snake. But we were on a dove field where a lot of other men, women and kids were enjoying a hunt. Last thing we needed was a kid looking for a dove and stepping on one of these. I actually saw 3 snakes that day. The third was a banded water snake and I just caught him and moved him away. Cotton Mouths or copperheads don't receive that kindness from me.

Nice to meet you too Finch? We know each other? Or you just creepin?
No they were fighting. When they are mating it is different. They aren't trying to overpower each other.

Went dove hunting today and came across these two males battling it out.
And yes I miss the first shot. ?? It was one handed from the hip and trying to film with the other hand.

re: Samson Al. Man kills 820 pound wild hog in his front yard

He is domesticated. You can tell that because of the length of his tusk. If he was wild and fighting for rank he would have been keeping those shorter and sharper. That boar couldn't fight off anything. I good catch dog would smoke him down quickly and he couldn't fight back because those tusk are not sharp. Also you see his balls right under his tail. That isn't his other ham.
Not sure exactly what this one weighed but he maxed a 350 pound scale when his shoulder left the concrete and his head was still sideways laying in the concrete.
This one weighed exactly 402. As you can see both sets of balls don't look as big when they are hanging from their back feet as they are when they are standing. I can promise you both of these were full mature boars.

The hog was the neighbors pen raised hog and it got out and the man shot it. It does still have its nuts. Hard to see but they are up there. And was no where close to 820. There are other pics of it going around too

My Silencerco Specwar is rated for full auto but man after about 20 rounds that thing would fry bacon.

Yeah we checked this morning and he was gone. I can only guess that his mom came and got him/her. I doubt any varmints got to him. They usually don't make it across the range like a deer does. Coyotes or bobcats are just moving targets.
Was sighting in a new scope and getting some practice in for a 3 Gun Match this weekend and saw this little fawn laying under one of the shooting benches. I had been sighting in the new AR scope about 200 yards away when I saw his mom cross the range. Didn't think anything of it. Then went to the pistol range and was setting up and saw him laying there. Decided not to get any pistol practice in today. Let the RO know and they shut down that part of the range for the day. I guess he/her gave up his/her camo for some shady and cool concrete.

3 Gun Match with Team Magnolia. This match is actually going to be all Rifle only. Going to be around a 250 round count on 5 stages.
GEAUXT are you old? It's been a while since I have been around here and was just wanting to see if that was you.
Ever been on a rabbit hunt and never seen not one rabbit?????

VP 9 is the one I chose.

You should change the subject to Last Days of a good wife. Cause she wouldn't deal with it.
Yep and they can change the shape of their head to be triangular. I caught one about a week ago and was watching him change the shape of his head. And was playing with him knowing he wasn't poisonous but when he struck me it still scared me and made me jump.

Love the 12 gauge shell chilling by the monitor too
That is actually a Remington Industrial Shell. It is an 8 gauge slug. My pawpaw used to shoot that in a mill to knock stuff off of the inside of huge containers.
Comparison to a 12gauge 2 3/4" shell.
